Peace & Love, Inc. (Radio Remix) Lyrics

Look at the world
It's a complicated place
And it's hard to keep the pace
You've got to wear a smiling faceBut what we've got
Is a blue light special on truth
It's the hottest thing with the youth
You've got nerves we need to sootheIf you've got to believe in something
Believe in us we make it easy
Peace and love incorporatedShop around
See if you don't agree
We think it fits you to a T
And the best part is it's free, I believeWe got the market cornered this time
We can make you feel fine
It could impact your bottom lineIf you got to believe in something
Believe in us 'cause well make it easy
If you've got to belong to something
Belong to us we'll make you PC
Peace and love incorporatedPeace and love

It's the newest 'cause by far
And we've got all the biggest stars
Get your politics up to parIf you got to believe in something
Believe in us 'cause well make it easy
If you've got to belong to something
Belong to us and we'll make you PCIf you got to have faith in something
Have faith in us it can be so easy
Peace and love incorporated
Welcome to peace and love incorporated

Information Society (aka Insoc), is a Minneapolis, MN, USA band, consisting of Kurt Harland (aka Kurt Valaquen, nee Kurt Larson), Paul Robb & James Cassidy; the latter two reconvened the band, in 2006. Their breakout hit was 1988's What's on Your Mind (Pure Energy), a dance hit which included a sample of Leonard Simon Nimoy (as Spock, of Star Trek), saying "pure energy" & opened with a sample of Jackson DeForest Kelley (as Leonard McCoy, also Star Trek), saying, "It's worked so far, but we're not out yet!"
