Giacomo Cataldo (b. 1977) began his musical studies with the violin and later turned to the piano before dedicating himself to composition. His sound is of the 21st century, embracing the expanded musical language of the previous century but without excluding any of the expressive possibilities of the tradition that lies behind it.
