Picking Up the Shattered Pieces Lyrics

The last few years I thought that things would never change
All in the same moment I know it cannot stay the same
As this chapter ends and a new one begins again,
I hope you find your wayThis is not where I wanted to go
Thought we'd see this together
Though you'll travel a different road
You'll always be my friendWe lost our way but we'll find it again
Good times may end,
But we'll have memories and I'll always keep them with meSo what can we do now? Will all our hard work end?
I wouldn't want to do this with anyone who wasn't already my friend
But I'll press on. We've come to far
We have to make this work somehow

Much The Same (1999-2007) was a punk rock band from the suburbs of Chicago, IL. Their style is based on the fast, melodic skate punk of the mid-to-late 1990's made popular by bands such as NOFX, Lagwagon, and No Use For A Name. The band began in 1999 under the name Don't Look Down and changed to Much The Same in 2001 after a legal dispute with the New Jersey based band called Don't Look Down. Their first album, Quitters Never Win, was released on Anti-Flag's A-F Records in 2003. The band then moved to Nitro Records to release their sophomore effort, Survive, in 2006.
