Placement Lyrics

Don't bow down, before an empty tomb
Where a pretty face it makes me stumble
And another chance is a hidden fall, is a hidden fallYou made that thing with your hands
But you kneel down in front of it
Pledge your allegiance and all that you own
To plastic idols and a rubber soul, a rubber soulGod is in his holy temple
So let us all be silent
God is in his holy temple
So let us all be silent let us all beI worship and adore you, my God
Casting down my treasures to the ground
Making dust of anything that I could set up in your place
Be thou exalted, be thou exaltedGod is in his holy temple
So let us all be silent
Let us all be, let us all be
Let us all be, let us all be
Let us all be, let us all be
Let us all be silent

Plankeye was an alternative rock band and one of Tooth & Nail Records' greatest successes during the 90's and early 2000's. Plankeye's style could be defined as melodic post-grunge combined with indie and alternative elements. Their first few albums also incorporated a fair amount of punk rock elements, but this aspect faded when original singer Scott Siletta left the band In 1994, Plankeye released Spill, their first album, which was able to garner enough sales to catch the interest of Tooth and Nail Records.
