Portrait Of Red Lyrics

Baby is bored of life,
She sleeps from 9-5,
Wakes up in time,
To beat the hell out of me tonight,
Do me some harm
Come on and do me some harm.Scratch out your life,
Paint me a portrait of red,
Beat out the truth,
When I am lying in bed,
Come on and do me some harm,
Do me some harm.Watching my girl taking out her aggression,
A pain from her hell, feels like a pain from my heaven,
Hands round my throat, my baby teaches a lesson,
I see all sorts of colours.Baby, treat my body like a canvas.Force my head down,
Make me taste the disgrace,
Dont bottle it up,
Dont put your anger to waste,
Come on and do me some harm,

Do me some harm.Watching my girl taking out her aggression,
A pain from her hell, feels like a pain from my heaven,
Hands round my throat, my baby teaches a lesson,
I see all sorts of colours.Baby, treat my body like a canvas.Get down
Baby, treat my body like a canvas

Satellite towns tend to breed big ambitions. Perched on the hills above Manchester, Macclesfield’s principle claim to fame comes in the cult of Ian Curtis. That classic example of the ‘just out of the city’ boy reinforces how big horizons tend to breed big ambitions. The Virginmarys are not part of the Curtis club. Their music blends the dynamics of platinum class ‘grunge’ (basically Nirvana, Mudhoney and Screaming Trees) with the spikiness of punk and the attention to detail and honesty of prime British rock of the early 1970’s, before the wizards and capes overcame the attack and dynamic.
