Prelude - Opdot

Opdot comprises the duo of Tim Laverack, an immensely talented classically trained pianist and music graduate who studied electro-acoustic composition under the tutelage of Simon Waters; and Gavin Kirtley, a naturally
gifted bass player, media graduate and specialist electronic engineer. Opdot have a musical eye for detail and an ear for melody, textures and mood. Their compositions marry emotive melodic electronica with intricate beats. Blending synthesizers and acoustic timbres the key to their sound is constant development of thematic material within classical structures/forms.
