Put Ur Hands Up Lyrics

Ugly people put ur hands down
You wanna throw down, g'on put ur hands up
Start the party now, g'on put ur hands up
This is a stickup, yo, I didn't hiccup or stutter
It's like butter y'all, g'on put ur hands up
You wanna throw down, g'on put ur hands up
Start the party now, g'on put ur hands up
Ain't nothing wrong with getting your party on
C'mon, c'mon, c'mon and g'on put ur hands up
Step one, listen up loud and clear
Because we got a little something to put in your ear
I know you came to have a good time
So kick off your shoes and relax your mind
Now put on your other shoes to make you dance
'Cause if you don't you might never get the chance
Step two, raise those arms off your sides
(Yeah you got it now )
Now stick 'em up in the sky

(Uh oh, uh oh)
Just throw 'em over your shoulder
Uh oh, uh oh
If you're young, if you're older
(Uh oh, uh oh)
'Cause you's a high roller
(Ugly people put ur hands down)
You wanna throw down, g'on put ur hands up
Start the party now, g'on put ur hands up
This is a stickup, yo, I didn't hiccup or stutter
It's like butter y'all, g'on put ur hands up
You wanna throw down, g'on put ur hands up
Start the party now, g'on put ur hands up
Ain't nothing wrong with getting your party on
C'mon, c'mon, c'mon and g'on put ur hands up
Step four, did you get left behind
Because if you did
We gonna press rewind
I have feeling, we should be dealing
With the fact sweat's dripping from the ceiling
It's a fact, step three is so whack
(Sike)
Now flip the track back
Uh oh, uh oh
Just throw 'em over your shoulder
(Uh oh, uh oh)
If you're young, if you're older
(Uh oh, uh oh)
'Cause you's a high roller
(Ugly people put ur hands down)
You wanna throw down, g'on put ur hands up
Start the party now, g'on put ur hands up
This is a stickup, yo, I didn't hiccup or stutter
It's like butter y'all, g'on put ur hands up
You wanna throw down, g'on put ur hands up
Start the party now, g'on put ur hands up
Ain't nothing wrong with getting your party on
C'mon, c'mon, c'mon and g'on put ur hands up
Yeah, you gotta keep doing what you're doing, you know
You know what I'm sayin'?
'Cause time is like a walk out, baby
It's comin' to getcha
Uh oh, uh oh
Just throw 'em over your shoulder
(Uh oh, uh oh)
If you're young, if you're older
(Uh oh, uh oh)
'Cause you's a high roller
(Ugly people put ur hands down)
You wanna throw down, g'on put ur hands up
Start the party now, g'on put ur hands up
This is a stickup, yo, I didn't hiccup or stutter
It's like butter y'all, g'on put ur hands up
You wanna throw down, g'on put ur hands up
Start the party now, g'on put ur hands up
Ain't nothing wrong with getting your party on
C'mon, c'mon, c'mon and g'on put ur hands up
You wanna throw down, g'on put ur hands up
Start the party now, g'on put ur hands up
This is a stickup, yo, I didn't hiccup or stutter
It's like butter y'all, g'on put ur hands up
You wanna throw down, g'on put ur hands up
Start the party now, g'on put ur hands up
Ain't nothing wrong with getting your party on
C'mon, c'mon, c'mon and g'on put ur hands up
Yeah, ow, ow
Aye, hey guys, how's it goin?
Uh, been listenin' to the tracks, they sound really great
Just keep doin' what you're doin'
(Yeah, okay)

"There's a delicate balance between the intertwining worlds of artistry, entertainment and humor, but for dance-derived rockers Family Force 5, it's an ecstatic equilibrium that remarkably illustrates all three elements. With tongue firmly planted in cheek, the Atlanta-based five-some are just as likely to get the party started as they are to escort audiences into an alternate reality. Even so, the band never compromises album creativity, while simultaneously hearkening back to the days of massive spectacles on tour.

The group's sophomore release, Dance Or Die, oozes with over-the-top illustrations, charging out of the gate with funky rhythms, percolating club grooves, undeniably infectious hooks and instantaneous sing-a-longs. Imagine an inventive evolution of the band's eye-opening debut, Business Up Front, Party in the Back, blended with Prince getting down at a Daft Punk concert where Michael Jackson busts out the moonwalk in the center of the dance floor."

As Christians, at the root of their music, Family Force 5 believes that they can reach a whole new spectrum of listeners by infusing high-energy tunes with party-time themes and a creative scramble of lyrics that point to their faith. "We want to make music that is for God, but at the same time, we want to make music that people enjoy and that they're not turned off by," states Solomon Old, lead singer.
