Quarantine Lyrics

In the evening rush, she takes her seat by the window.
And when she lights up, nobody speaks, they just adjust their clothes.
She sits on the train from five fifteen to five fifty.
It's always the same,
"The way" she says "they look at me".
* From Saturday to Saturday.
Contact, unclean, lock me up in quarantine.
Contact, unclean, lock me up in quarantine.
Bathed in the blue wash of a T.V. screen,
surfing served up dreams to the happy glow of the burger bar,
watching the passing cars.
* (repeat)* (repeat)Quarantine, quarantine.
All our lives we've been in quarantine. (*4)

Rialto were a Britpop band of the late 1990s in the UK and known as that unlucky band who were dropped twice from East West Records. The band grew from the Oxygen/MCA Records act Kinky Machine that featured singer Louis Eliot (pictured, second from right) and Johnny Bull (pictured, far right). They released their first album, Rialto in 1998, and their second, Night on Earth in 2002. Their most famous single is their debut, 'Monday Morning 5:19'.
