Two of the best young actresses of this generation, Fanning and Stewart, have taken on the roles of rock and roll queens Cherie Currie and Joan Jett, respectively, for their part in the new biopic film, The Runaways. Based on Jett and Currie’s early life in The Runaways and the fame that shortly followed, it promises to open the eyes of rock and roll enthusiates, and newcomers alike, to the hardship and realities the band endured.
