Quiet Life Lyrics

Settle in for the night
It's the quiet life you've been waiting for
And all that you wanted will be there
Don't you believe me?
Don't you believe me anymore?Well I see you're scared
And you stay on those stairs
Don't ask 'cause you won't come back to me
My heart grows heavy
Can't start when you're not ready for this
I know it's fast
The hesitation dies but you won't outlast____
By the time you see what's left
The distance will grow
I suppose
You're all out of breath
And I should've knownFeels like nothing but a hand keeps touching your heart
The first time well you can't make sure
Better hold still

You're so smartFeels like nothing but a hand keeps touching your heart
The first time well you've gotta make sure
Better hold still
You're so smart
(Repeat)Feels like nothing but a hand keeps touching your heart
(My heart / Your hand / I swear I / Understand)
The first time well you can't make sure
(I'll wait for you)
Hold still
(I'll wait for you)
You're so smart
(Repeat)Feels like nothing but a hand keeps touching...
(I'll wait for you)
