Radio Friendly Girlfriend Lyrics

Did you think you'd be so cool?
Did you think I'd take you back? Can you hear me?
Can you hear me?
Can you hear me?
Can you even touch the ground? Can you hear me?
Can you hear me?
Can you hear me now?Pull me up
I'm not turning around
You don't have to climb so high to knock me downPull me up
I'm not turning around
You own your bleeding hearts nowIf you really won the race
Did you even catch your breath? Are you running?
Are you running
Just to watch yourself fall down? Are you running?
Are you running?
Are you running down?Pull me up
I'm not turning around
You don't have to climb so high to knock me downPull me up

I'm not turning around
You own your bleeding hearts nowDid you think you'd be so cool?
Did you think I'd take you back?
If you really won the race
Did you even catch your breath, your breath?Pull me up
I'm not turning around
You don't have to climb so high to knock me downPull me up
I'm not turning around
You own your bleeding hearts nowYou own your bleeding hearts now
You own your bleeding hearts now

Collapsis is a band from Chapel Hill, North Carolina. Their name can be traced back to an old Dillon Fence song. They can loosely be categorized as late-nineties post-grunge, with melodic vocals and lyrical themes of broken relationships, cautious yearning, and loneliness. They had more of a country influence than many bands in that genre; the instrumentals sounded more like a hybrid of country and pop music than nineties modern rock, although their music was accessible to fans of any of those genres.
