Wonderland Lyrics

Holly made an Angel in the snow
She wished under the stars and winter sand
And then she whispered to me from below
I think her fallen heart fell in my hands
She said, "Even in this cold December sky
Know you are the center of my life"
And all that could meanSo I jump for joy
And I sing out loud
And her smiling face
Makes me proud
And this frozen world
Somehow it all falls down
Somehow it all falls downHolly never thought our love would grow
Or ever go beyond this wonderland
She said, "I will always keep you in my heart
We can be together and apart"
It's all just a dreamSo I jump for joy
And I sing out loud

And her smiling face
Makes me proud
And this frozen world
Somehow it all falls down
Somehow it all falls downAnd I'm going to hang on till the end
And all that could mean
Another year ends and then begins
It's all just a dream
Still I'm gonna love you where I stand
If I stand at all
Still I'm gonna do the best I canHolly made an Angel in the snow
She wished under the stars and winter sandSo I jump for joy
And I sing out loud
And her smiling face
Makes me proud
And this frozen world
Somehow it all falls down
SomehowI jump for joy
And I sing out loud
And her smiling face
Makes me proud
And this frozen world
Somehow it all falls down
Somehow it all falls down
Somehow it all falls downHolly made an Angel in the snow

Collapsis is a band from Chapel Hill, North Carolina. Their name can be traced back to an old Dillon Fence song. They can loosely be categorized as late-nineties post-grunge, with melodic vocals and lyrical themes of broken relationships, cautious yearning, and loneliness. They had more of a country influence than many bands in that genre; the instrumentals sounded more like a hybrid of country and pop music than nineties modern rock, although their music was accessible to fans of any of those genres.
