Rain King Lyrics

[Verse 1]
Nothing you can do will change it now
You leave me low it's true but i'm allright
Flying 'cross the burning sand, the paradise so close at hand
I will vanish into the yellow land, living in bamboo
It's a daydream I can't lose
[Chorus]
Rain King, is there anything I can do ?
Rain King, is there anything i can do ?
[Verse 2]
Buy the tickets sell the farm in Newport
Leave it all in a locker at the airport
Give my suits and overcoats to the guy who tends the pigs and goats
I'll be back when i have stood below, Victoria Falls, Rhodesia calls

And you know i can't refuse
[Chorus]
Rain King, is there anything I can do ?
Rain King, is there anything i can do ?
[Verse 3]
Nothing you can do will save him now
He's vanished to a place you're not allowed
He's traded in his double myth for a grassy hut and a place to sit
He's got his mouth around a big brown tit, he's running wild, he's running wild
And you know she won't refuse
[Chorus]
Rain King, is there anything I can do ?
Rain King, Doctor Livingstone i presume ?
