Raise The Flag Lyrics

The battle ain't over
The fight goes on
We'll never surrender
We're still standing strong
As long as you're alive, we're alive
Rock 'n' roll will never die
From the southern stars
To the northern light
Rock 'n' roll will survive
We're stoking the flame
With high octane
We'll never weaken or fall
Now is the time for you and I
To answer the call
Raise the flag
Raise the flag
Come on, raise the flag
Raise the flag for rock 'n' roll

Raise the flag
We're taking ground
Every night and day
We got the pedal down
Yeah, we're going all the way
As long as you're alive and we're alive
Rock 'n' roll will never die
From the southern stars
To the northern light
Rock 'n' roll will survive
We're stoking the flame
With high octane
We'll never weaken or fall
Now is the time for you and I
To answer the call
Raise the flag
Raise the flag
Come on, raise the flag
Raise the flag for rock 'n' roll
Raise the flag
The war ain't over
The fight goes on
We'll never surrender
We're still standing strong
Yeah, we're stoking the flame
With high octane
We'll never weaken or fall
Now is the time
To answer the call
Raise the flag
Raise the flag
Come on, raise the flag
Raise the flag
Come on, raise the flag
Raise the flag
Raise the flag
Come on, raise the flag
For rock 'n' roll
Raise the flag
Raise the flag
Raise the flag
For rock 'n' roll
Raise the flag

X CLAN is a hip-hop group from Brooklyn, New York, originally composed of Grand Verbalizer Funkin' Lesson Brother J, Professor X the Overseer, Paradise the Architect, and Sugar Shaft the Rhythm Provider. Known for its Afrocentrism and militant activism (they were members of Blackwatch), X-Clan soon gained legendary fame among young African-American hip-hop listeners for the political and cultural messages its music espoused, though commercial success was sporadic. Its debut was To The East, Blackwards (1990), followed by Xodus (1992), and a temporary break-up.
