Ready For The Weekend Lyrics

Grab somebody (repeats)
Grab somebody go live it up ah ah ah-ha
Grab somebody go live it up ah ah ah-ha
Grab somebody go live it up ah ah ah-ha
Grab somebody go live it up ah ah ah-ha.
Yeah baby come on,
Get ready for the weekend.
Yeah baby come on,
Get ready for the weekend.
Grab somebody go lift me up
Yeah baby come on,
Get ready for the weekend.
Grab somebody go lift me up
Yeah baby come on,
Get ready for the weekend.
Well, I’ma find you baby bass
I’ma rock hard in your face.
Like a diamond in the light

I’m the color loving
Bitch uncovered
Well, I’ma find you baby bass
I’ma rock hard in your face.
There no father to some?
Get it all, drink it up
Feel what's in your cup.
(x2:)
Yeah baby come on,
Get ready for the weekend.
Yeah baby come on,
Get ready for the weekend.
Yeah baby come on,
Get ready for the weekend.
Yeah baby come on,
Get ready for the weekend.
Yeah baby come on,
Get ready for the weekend.
Yeah baby come on,
Get ready for the weekend.
Yeah baby come on,
Get ready for the weekend.
Yeah baby come on,
Get ready for the weekend.

Icona Pop is a duo from Stockholm, Sweden. Caroline Hjelt and Aino Jawo deliver pop music that seems second nature to most Scandinavians. Upon first hearing Manners you get it all – clapped beats, fizzy electronics, cute female vocals and a Sesame Street chorus. It’s verses are like the narration of a teenager’s diary, before the youthful confidence comes storming in, “take a second look and you’ll see, there is no one like me“. It’s a punchy pop song that has a wonderful blend of obvious hooks, big choruses and a chart-ready appeal, yet it’s still drenched in buckets of ice cool undertones.
