Reclamation Lyrics

Humanity's a failed experiment
Walking the path to extinction
Spinning its wheels endlessly
Grease them with oil when you ring it outHumanity's a failed experiment
Walking the path to extinctionThe earth will shake and the waters will rise
The elements reclaim what was taken
What was takenThe skyline is set ablaze with regret
Ashes cover a falling silhouette
The city will reap what it sowed, what a night
Watching as whole city burnsBlindly consuming mass manufactured faith
Mankind is a festering parasiteBlindly consuming mass manufactured faith
Mankind is a festering parasite
Relentlessly draining it's host dry
Nailing belief to a cross of genocideThe elements reclaim what was taken
What was takenThe skyline is set ablaze with regret
Ashes cover a falling silhouette
The city will reap what it sowed, what a night
Watching as whole city burns tonightOnly after the last trace comes

And the last drip of poison
Only after the last finch is caught
Will you find that money cannot pay hatredWhen everything becomes irrelevant
When the sky tears open
Fire rains down, fire rains down
The fourth world comes to an endPush the button, light the match
Feel the bloodlines detach
Cross-hairs in the evening light
I said it once the city burns tonight
The city burns tonight, tonight
The city burns tonightThe skyline is set ablaze with regret
Ashes cover a falling silhouette
The city will reap what it sowed, what a night
Watching as whole city burns tonight

Formed in 2002, originally hailing from Phoenix, AZ and now residing in Oakland, California, Graves at Sea play a very droney, slow, painful sounding type of sludge. With members coming from previous bands and one member having knowledge in sound engineering their first demo went extremely well and immediately caught some attention in the doom metal subculture, promptly causing the band to get signed and start producing legit material and in turn, gaining even more praise in the metal scene.
