Recurring Lyrics

Let's take a break from this
So you can quickly start with that
If I could show you how would I feel right now
Maybe it's jealousy, maybe it's me knowing
I couldn't be there for you, I've never felt that wayClose your eyes and make a wish
So we can end this final chapter
This book has waited too long to close
Please end this final chapterClose your eyes and make a wish
So we can end this final chapter
This book has waited too long to close
Please end this final chapterMaybe it's just me realizing
I didn't know you, I just craved you
Maybe I did know you
But it was just time before you realizedNo matter how much I would give you
You would always want more with me
Tried to capture as much happiness
I've never felt that wayAnd I'll be the first one to say
This happened for a reason

And you'll be the first one to say I told you so
Before you continue to confuse me
Before I continue to confuse me
I wish I could relive our good days in replayClose your eyes and make a wish
So we can end this final chapter
This book has waited too long to close
Please end this final chapterClose your eyes and make a wish
So we can end this final chapter
This book has waited too long to close
Please end this final chapter

Energetic live shows got the band signed to March Records in 1999, and a second album was released on Eulogy Recordings in 2000. Nationwide touring ensued, opening for Black Flag, 311, Dashboard Confessional, and Pennywise. Signing to Fearless Records, the band re-released their second album and recorded a third, soon moving on to Victory Records to record their fourth album in 2003.
