Red Alert Lyrics

Stop it!
Stop it!
Stop it!
Red alert! Red alert! It's a catastrophe
But don't worry, don't panic
Ain't nothin' goin' on but history, yeah
It's alright, don't panic
And the music keeps on playin' on and on
And the music keeps on playin on and on
Stop it!
Red alert! Red alert! It's a catastrophe
But don't worry, don't panic
Ain't nothin' goin' on but history, yeah
But It's alright, don't panic
And the music keeps on playin' on and on
And the music keeps on playin on and on
On and on, on and on
And the music keeps on playing on and on, yeah

On and on, on and on
And the music keeps on playing on and on, yeah
Stop it!
The way you shake, shake, shake, shake
The way you shake, shake, shake, shake
Baby
Yippie, yay yay yay, yo
Yippie, yay yay yay, yo
Yippie, yay yay yay, yo
Yippie, yay yay yay, yo
On and on, on and on
And the music keeps on playin' on and on
And the music keeps on playin on and on
And the music keeps on playin on and on
And the music keeps on playin on and on

Teenage Jesus and the Jerks were an influential post-punk group from New York City, New York, United States, who formed part of the city's no wave movement. Founded by one-time CBGBs waitress Lydia Lunch and saxophonist James Chance, the group was active from 1976 to 1979, releasing only a handful of singles. Chance eventually left to form The Contortions and pursue his own equally abrasive musical direction. Both groups were featured on the seminal "No New York" LP, a showcase of the early No Wave scene compiled and produced by Brian Eno.
