ManicM (1982) is a Do-It-Yourself indie electronic artist from the Netherlands. His first official album, 'SlowMotionAdversity', was a collection of personal favourites from earlier, unofficial releases. It was released in 2003 through U-Lit Records. In Spring 2008, ManicM released the surprising follow-up, 'The Wrong Side of the Fence', a more accessible album that has gained several great reviews. Unlike 'SloMoAd', which featured mainly instrumental noise/ambient/industrial tracks, the new album contains songs that are more guitar influenced and have more lyrics.
