Resurrection Lyrics

I've died a thousand times since you left me
And I stared down the barrel of a thousand loaded guns
I caught a midnight ride headed somewhere
To be born again with the rising of the southern sunI woke to dawn washing over Memphis
I'm seein' through the eyes of a new born child
Well, I remember you always hated Elvis
So I think I might stay here awhileResurrection
ResurrectionA cheap perfume and cheaper whiskey
She winked at me when she said, Last call
When the parkin' lot was empty
We made love in a bathroom stall
With 'Jesus is Love' written on the wallResurrection
ResurrectionYou see, I've died so many times since you left me
I stared down the barrel of a thousand loaded guns
I caught a midnight ride headed somewhere
To be born again with the rising of the southern sun
To be born again with the rising of the southern sun
To be born again with the rising of the southern sunI am your southern sun

I am your southern sunResurrection
Resurrection
Resurrection
Resurrection
