Return To Fantasy Lyrics

Searching every day looking every way
Trying to make a connection to find a piece of the action
Like a hungry poet who doesn't know
He is close to perfection choice is the question
Moonlight night after moonlight night
Side by side they will see us ride
But if they cared to look then they would see
It's our return to fantasy, fantasy, fantasy, fantasy, fantasy, fantasy
Can you understand that in every man
There's a need to unwind that's never been defined
Somewhere deep within there's another being
You are somehow abusing by the person you're using
Moonlight night after moonlight night
Side by side they will see us ride
But if they cared to look then they would see
It's our return to fantasy, fantasy, fantasy, fantasy, fantasy, fantasy
Traveling faster than lightening closer than ever before

We can go on for you and take you nearer to the legend of mystery
From the beginning of time dreaming time dreaming
We can return to the land of the good and the kind
Time dreaming time dreaming
No we won't come to your party and open our minds
In another place there's a newer face
Like an unfinished painting your creator is waiting
The brush and pen describe, what it is inside
That will set your mind thinking while the others are sinking
Moonlight night after moonlight night
Side by side they will see us ride
But if they cared to look then they would see
It's our return to fantasy, fantasy, fantasy, fantasy, fantasy, fantasy

Uriah Heep is a British rock band, officially formed in 1969 in London, England, when record producer Gerry Bron invited keyboardist Ken Hensley (previously a member of The Gods and Toe Fat) to join Spice, members of whom included soon-to-become Heep stalwarts David Byron (vocals) and Mick Box (guitar). The band rapidly grew to become a seminal classic hard rock act of the 1970s and beyond. Their distinctive progressive/art rock/heavy metal fusion has always featured a massive keyboards sound, strong vocal harmonies and (in the early years) David Byron's operatic vocals.

Sometimes jokingly referred to as "The Beach Boys of heavy metal" for their melodic songs, and trademark multi-part harmony backing vocals, although their music draws on diverse influences including psychedelia, gothic sound, progressive rock, hard rock, early heavy metal, jazz, and even country on occasion.

Uriah Heep remains active, its lineup staying steady from 1986 to 2007, when drummer Lee Kerslake left for health reasons, and was replaced by Russell Gilbrook. The current lineup is: Mick Box (guitar, vocals), Trevor Bolder (bass, vocals), Phil Lanzon (keyboards, vocals), Bernie Shaw (lead vocals), and Russell Gilbrook (drums, vocals).
