Rich Man Lyrics

A man is measured these days by the money he's got
I'm not sure when it started happening
But that's not the way it's supposed to be I thought
Or maybe I'm a bit old fashioned
'Cause I just wanna live my life, raise my kids
Love my wife like my dad did
I may never be a millionaire but I've got more than enough
I'm a rich man, rich in love
Yeah, a little more money, Lord, wouldn't it be sweet
Heaven knows that it could change things
But there's food on our table and shoes on our feet
So I don't waste my time complaining
And I'm just gonna live my life, raise my kids
Love my wife like my dad did
I may never be a millionaire but I've got more than enough
I'm a rich man, rich in love
And I'm just gonna live my life, raise my kids

Love my wife like my dad did
I may never be a millionaire but I've got more than enough
I'm a rich man, rich in love
I'm a rich man, rich in love

La Junta began early 2004 with a sound combining various musical styles. Influenced by so many genres, including jazz, blues, rock, reggae, Latin and hip-hop music, every song is significantly different from the next. Attempting to blend each sound, La Junta believes they have found something very refreshing in an industry of cardboard cutouts. With their unique style as a backdrop, La Junta reflects what they observe in everyday life as well as represent who they and where they come from in a positive way. This is the beginning of “Southwest Funk-Hop”.
