Ride Out Lyrics

From the sword of the crusader to the missionary spin
From the atom of creation to the secrets deep within
Illusions and delusions lead us where we shouldn't go
Time to disconnect from clutter, time to hit the roadRide out to a bold new horizon
Where the sun may be shinin'
On a place you've never seenRide out lift your soul and your spirit
Take a chance and get near it
Everybody needs a dreamIs the media for real do we fake or do we feel
Do we base all our appeal on a model or a myth
It's a market correction it's addiction resurrection
It's the last thing you mention before you knock it stiffRide out where the hills meet the valleys
Far from campaigns and rallies
And the things we do for oilRide out mix the real and imagined
With the lost and abandoned
And bring it to a boilIt takes your breath away
The way we pay and pay and pay and payYou can take it to the masses you can run it up a pole
You can conquer all resistance and believe you're in control
But the world will be watchin' there's a crack in every lie

When it opens like a chasm you can kiss it all goodbyeRide out to the high copper canyons
Past the shacks and the mansions
Where the rivers never endRide out past the peaks and the mesas
To the wide open spaces
You may never see againRide out to a brand new horizon
Where the sun may be shinin'
On a place you've never seenRide out lift your soul lift your spirt
Take a chance and get near it
Everybody needs a dream

Andale’ (pronounced un-da-lay), a.k.a. Trey Williams, is a lyricist of real life experiences. He has mastered the art of introducing both the young and old to Jesus Christ using his powerful gift of music. It wasn’t always this way. Growing up in the inner city of north Nashville, Andale’ was heavily influenced by his negative environment. Run-ins with the law as well as expulsion from school was a common occurrence in his early days however, It was those experiences which helped Andale’ turn to writing music. Although secular at first, Andale was obviously gifted. He won many rap battles and talent contests using his talent for the enemy. One day while in a recording session he heard the voice of the Holy Spirit call him to do music for the Kingdom of God. Without hesitation he instantly said goodbye to the negativity of secular music. Since then God has opened door after door. He has had the privilege of recording with Grammy nominated producers Incorporated Elements (Grits and Talib Kweli, Nappy Roots) and Kelvin Wooten (Anthony Hamilton, Mary J. Blige, Outkast, Yolanda Adams, Mary Mary, Donnie McClurkin); He’s also opened for gospel recording artists such Kirk Franklin, Virtue, J-Moss Lisa McClendon, Kurt Carr, Canton Jones. He has performed at such events as the WEUP June Black Arts Festival in Huntsville, AL, the Heritage Festival in Birmingham, AL and has appeared on the hit TV show Hype and Glory with world renowned gospel rapper T-Bone (“Fighting Temptations”). His live show is incredible and convicting. His energy bad sense of humor leaves the listener wanting more. Few have ever heard so much passion, anointing and versatility in one man's delivery. His gift is truly from God. Read more on Last.fm. User-contributed text is available under the Creative Commons By-SA License; additional terms may apply.
