Rising Tide - Peacebear

Peacebear members Jon Kim and Stephen Whatley where both originally from Columbus Ohio. They became friends in high school and found they had common interests in alternative pop music and the psychedelic sounds of early 70s rock groups. After high school in 2005 both members separated to pursue college educations, Jon relocated to Los Angeles and Stephen remained in Ohio. They stayed in touch and eventually decided that they both wanted to pursue a career in music. So in May 2009 Stephen moved to Los Angeles and they formed Peacebear.
