Roller Coaster Lyrics

The ride were on is about to begin
Im waiting for it to come back again
Sides are taken dont step out of line
Turn back now or always ask whyAround we go
These tracks of life
Holding on to this bar so tight
You twist and turn
Until you fall
I roll my eyes
Ignore your callI said you said
it never really matters so
why do we ride this roller coasterI said you said
it never really matters so
why cant we see that this is overThis roller coaster
is going nowhere
is going nowhereOnce again
It never ends
A steady climb quickly descends

You scream and shout
Go back and forth
Still holding tight
Trapped on this courseI said you said
it never really matters so
why do we ride this roller coasterI said you said
it never really matters so
why cant we see that this is overThis ride were on
Is going to end
Will I ever learn
Or get on again
Now I know it turns intoI said you said
it never really matters so
why do we ride this roller coasterI said you said
it never really matters so
why cant we see that this is overI said you said
it never really matters so
why do we ride this roller coasterI said you said
it never really matters so
why cant we see that this is overThis roller coaster
This roller coaster
is going nowhere
is going nowhere...

Lawrence, Massachusetts, which sits just north of Boston may not be considered a hot bed for producing fresh talent, but that all changed in the summer of 1998 when a local band broke out and made it big. Fast forward to the summer of 2009 and another local band is starting to generate the same buzz that catapulted Godsmack to the top of the charts. Formed in 2003 by friends Mark Roberge and Derek Rousseau, the group experimented with their sound before finally finding their niche. Prospect Hill released their first full length album titled “Out of The Ashes” in 2006.
