Running Into You Lyrics

My house is your house
Your friends used to be ours
And when I go to sleep at night
I keep wonderin' if she's sleeping now
Try not to kid myself
This time maybe we're throughTry to run away, but I keep runnin'
Try to run away, but I keep runnin'
Try to run away, but I keep runnin' into youIn other places
Seein' the ghost of your face
It's even in the furniture
That I bought for my brand new place
I live in an apartment now
But there's room enough for twoTry to run away, but I keep runnin'
Try to run away, but I keep runnin'
Try to run away, but I keep runnin' into youEvery time I see you now it feels like I'm pretending
We could be together somehow lovers more than friendsNow when I see you
Take you out for a date
You've hardly said a word

When you say baby it's gettin' real late
You've gotta go to work too soon
So where are you takin' me now?Try to run away, but I keep runnin'
Try to run away, but I keep runnin'
Try to run away, but I keep runnin' into you

Cowboy Mouth is a rock band based in New Orleans, Louisiana, taking their name from the title of a Sam Shepard play which got the term from a Bob Dylan song. The nucleus of the band, Fred Leblanc (Drums, Vocals) and John Thomas Griffith (Guitar, Vocals), formed in the early 1990s, and they climbed the ladder from an opening act living in a van to a powerhouse live act that has been called "a religious experience" by more than one music journalist. In particular their 2004 live Lincoln Park, Chicago album "Live From the Zoo" received incredible criticial praise, especially form Rolling Stone.
