Whourkr was an experimental band from Paris which is on the frontier of death metal/grindcore and electronic/breakcore/noise music. No lyrics, a dense sound, suffocating and poetic, the music aims at deep ecology and human issues. The whole project starts in 2005 with Igorrr and Öxxö Xööx, two musicians from the new French electronic scene. The first album, Naät, which was recorded in their home studio, was released for the first time as an auto-production in 2007 despite the complaining of the neighbors and the visit of the police due to the noise.
