Argumentix began as a solo recording project of James Squeaky (then of Alarmist/Sex With Girls) in 2004, then became a main focus after both those bands ended in 2005. After approximately 100 live solo performances (including 2 west coast tours), James was joined by occasional collaborator (and in a side project of James's called Animal Writes) Alex Hando playing sax. As a duo, they have toured the midwest/east coast and have played about 2 dozen shows in their hometown of Portland, Oregon.
