Say The Words Lyrics

If you gotta' go, then I'll make out all right
If you wanna to know, I knew it wasn't right
All the time
Well make out some how, just like we did before
Just don't turn around, when you walk out the door
Just one time
Say the words
Say the words I love
Fell the time, till the time you can stay
Say the words
Say the words I love
Fell the time, till the time you can stay
Nothing left to do, its done there is no more
Nothing left to say, we've said it all before
Yes I know
Wouldn't trade away a day of what we had
I know you shouldn't stay but babe it wasn't bad
Before you go

Say the words
Say the words I love
Fell the time, till the time you can stay
Say the words
Say the words I love
Fell the time, till the time you can stay

Several well-known entertainers have given Manilow their "stamp of approval," including Sinatra, who was quoted in the 1970s regarding Manilow, "He's next." In 1988, Bob Dylan stopped Manilow at a party, hugged him and said, "Don't stop what you're doing, man. We're all inspired by you."

As well as producing and arranging albums for other artists, such as Bette Midler and Dionne Warwick, Manilow has written songs for musicals, films, and commercials.
