Scarborough Fair Lyrics

Are you going to Scarborough fair?
Parsley, sage, rosemary and thyme
Remember me to one who lives there
He once was a true love of mine
Tell him to make me a cambric shirt
Parsley, sage, rosemary and thyme
Without no seam nor needlework
Then he'll be a true love of mine
Tell him to find me an acre of land
Parsley, sage, rosemary and thyme
Between the salt water and the sea strand
Then he'll be a true love of mine
Are you going to Scarborough fair?
Parsley, sage, rosemary and thyme
Remember me to one who lives there
He once was a true love of mine

The equation is simple - One French girl + one American guy = the band Freedom Fry (Parisian born Marie Seyrat and New York City's Bruce Driscoll). Their music features minimalistic sounds and driving beats combined with various organic instrumentation - from autoharps and ukuleles to harpsichords and dulcimers. Marie's breathy, soft, French-accented vocals combine hauntingly with Bruce's in both English and French.
