Seagull Lyrics

Seagull, you fly across the horizon
Into the misty mornin' sun
Nobody asks you where you are going
Nobody knows where you're fromHere is a man asking the question
Is this really the end of the world?
Seagull, you must have known for a long time
The shape of things to comeNow you fly, through the sky never asking why
And you fly all around 'til somebody, shoots you down, downSeagull, you fly, across the horizon
Into the misty mornin' sun
Nobody asks you where you are going
Nobody knows where you're fromNow you fly through the sky, never asking why
And you fly all around 'til somebody, yeah
Shoots you down, yeahSeagull you fly, seagull you fly away
And you fly away today
And you fly away tomorrow
And you fly away, leave me to my sorrowSeagull go and fly
Fly to your tomorrow, leave me to my sorrow, fly

The Cottars are a celtic band from Cape Breton Island, Nova Scotia, Canada. The original members of the band were two teenaged pairs of siblings, Ciarán and Fiona MacGillivray of Albert Bridge, and Jimmy and Roseanne MacKenzie of Baddeck. They released three albums to considerable acclaim: Made In Cape Breton (2002), On Fire (2004), and Forerunner (2006). In 2006, they toured extensively with the well-known Irish band The Chieftains. However, the founding members of the band split up in 2006, either because of artistic differences, or health problems, according to different reports.
