Seain' Different Lyrics

You wanted excuses, they gave you excuses
The pressure got stronger, inside you grew warmer
The calender boiled, time just ticked away for you
Now you're on your ownAnother day gone by
I see it in your eyes
Trying so hard just to please
Did you stop to think? We're seein' things different in time
We'll soon tell the apples have ripened
The bottle is empty, the barrel is dry
Money standing in our wayWhere can we turn now? I've walked out on my way
Knowing things won't change
What you're doing's not okay
It won't comfort you?Seein' different, seein' different, yeah
Seein' different, seein' different, yeah
Seein' different, seein' different, yeah
Seein' differentAnd I've said my piece
You turned your back on me
What a free trip on a ride

And what have you deserved?Seein' different, seein' different, yeah
Seein' different, seein' different, yeah
Seein' different, seein' different, yeah
Seein' different, different, yeah

Pulley is a Southern California punk rock outfit that made its debut in 1996. The band is known for straight-forward, hard-edged melodic punk. Pulley was formed upon vocalist Scott Radinsky's departure from Ten Foot Pole, brought about by that band's desire for a singer with a full-time focus on music (Radinsky is also a famous major-league relief pitcher and has played for the Los Angeles Dodgers among others). Pulley's initial lineup included drummer Jordan Burns, guitarist Jim Cherry, guitarist Mike Harder, and former Face to Face bassist Matt Riddle.
