Search Warrant Lyrics

I thought, I told you not to run down on the one way track
There's a man with a train and he's coming fast
We could ask him how to turn it around
He'll decipher your life and then run you downDon't ask me why, it's hard to explain
But you'll only get wet if you play in the rainI'm not trying to run from you
I just don't like the way we're pretending
If this already becomes untrue
I'm searching, yeahAnd then they brought me to a mountain of the highest peaks
There's a heavenly view but it's hard to reach
It's an island high above the ground
I climbed halfway but I turned aroundDon't ask me why, it's hard to explain
But you never get wet staying out of the rainI'm not trying to run from you
I just don't like the way we're pretending
If this already becomes untrue
I'm searching, searching, yeahDon't ask me why, it's hard to explain
But you never get wet staying out of the rainI'm not trying to run from you
I just don't like the way we're pretending
If this already becomes untrue

I'm searchingI'm not trying to run from you
I just don't like the way we're pretending
If this already becomes untrue
I'm searching, searching, ohh
