Seconds Away Lyrics

These are the days
The time we've been given
To do what we will, what we can.
The streets of the city
They flow like a river
And those dreams, they can slip through your hands.
How will I see if I cannot believe it
How in the world would I know.
How will I fly if I cannot conceive it
Still we all need to know.
We're seconds away, from another tomorrow.
Seconds away, from another hello.
Seconds away, from a moment of sorrow.
We're seconds away.
With every heartbeat
I can feel it
Something keeps driving me on.
Must be the call of my own human spirit.

This thing's an addiction,
And just keeps holdin' on.
How will I see if I cannot believe it
How in the world would I know.
How will I fly if I cannot conceive it
Still we all need to know.
We're seconds away, from another tomorrow.
Seconds away, from another hello.
Seconds away, from a moment of sorrow. (yeah)
We're seconds away.
Some life is forever, some are out of time.
Some still chase their passions
Some leave them all behind.
Everything keeps changing
It can all turn on a dime
In the blink of an eye.
(Music interlude)
We're seconds away, from another tomorrow.
Seconds away, from another hello.
Seconds away, from a moment of sorrow.
We're seconds away.
We're seconds away...
Seconds away...
Seconds away, from a moment of sorrow.
We're seconds away.

Scientist is a name of at least two acts: [1] A pseudonym of dub musician Hopeton Brown (aka Overton Brown), from Kingston, Jamaica). Brown burst onto the reggae scene in the early '70s with a reckless mixing style that seemed to outdo even King Tubby's wildest extravaganzas. He began his career as an engineer at Tubby's in 1978. Shortly afterwards he became a Tubby protégé and, by 1980, had gained a reputation with a distinctive mixing style. He became worldwide known after Rockstar Games used his album 'Scientist Rids the World of the Curse Of the Vampires' in 2001.
