See No Evil (feat. Dave Doll) Lyrics

Wonder if ya wanna go around town
Play it up, play it down
Ya gotta prove yourself, gotta be a man
But just understand, ya gotta-
Kill your enemies
Or journey to the dark side of novelty
We will let it be
Cuz we're all kitsch
It's just a niche
And you're a stitch
Whatchya doin' there in that corner?
Well I have to break it to ya
You're a rat in a trap
Everybody's got somethin' to say
You'll never break it through without gnawing
Over all your indiscrepancies
What will you say when you're on deaths door?

Fuck
We'll I've got to assume
It's got nothin' to do with luck
Tendrils slither out your eyes -
See no evil
And your ears fill up with flies -
Hear no evil
And your mouth it tells the lies -
Speak no evil
We wont make it out alive.
Everybody now...
Wonder when you're gonna merry go round
Well it goes up and it goes down
Rollercoaster's broke
Face first in the sand
Never understand ya gotta -
Kill your memories
Even when you're gigging to the point you're in a poverty
We just let it be
Cuz were all kitsch
Its just a niche
And you're a stitch
Tendrils slither out your eyes -
See no evil
And your ears fill up with flies -
Hear no evil
And your mouth it tells the lies -
Speak no evil
We wont make it out alive

This Way to the Egress is a well oiled musical machine, running on a tank of piss and vinegar, and comprised of an unholy union of characters so varied (and at times, volatile) that to tell the story of Egress is like telling the story of Shiva’s dance of creation and destruction before and after each cosmic cycle. But varied as the cast may be, two unifying goals remain: The first is to present a sound not only true to its Vaudeville roots, but also not shy about pushing boundaries and evolving as a band (and musical family).
