See You Later Alligator Lyrics

Well, I saw my baby walkin' with another man today
Yes, I saw my baby walkin' with another man today
When I asked her what's the matter
This is what I heard her saySee you later alligator, after 'while crocodile
See you later alligator, after 'while crocodile
Don't you know you're in my way now
Can't you see you cramp my styleWhen I though of what she told me, nearly made me lose my head
When I though of what she told me, nearly made me lose my head
Well, when she asked what's the matter
Reminded her of what she saidSee you later alligator, after 'while crocodile
See you later alligator, after 'while crocodile
Don't you know you're in my way now
Can't you see you cramp my styleI said wait a minute 'gator, I know you meant it just for play
I said wait a minute 'gator, I know you meant it just for play
But don't you know you really hurt me
And this is what I have to saySee you later alligator, well after 'while crocodile
See you later alligator, well after 'while crocodile
Don't you know you're in my way now

Can't you see you cramp my style

Dr. Feelgood are a British pub rock band, formed in 1971. The classic line-up included Lee Brilleaux (b. 1953, d. 7 April 1994; vocals/harmonica), Wilko Johnson (b. John Wilkinson, 1947; guitar), John B. Sparks (b. 1953; bass) and John 'The Big Figure' Martin (drums). Initially based in Canvey Island, Essex, on the Thames estuary, Dr. Feelgood broke into the London circuit in 1974. Brilleaux's menacing personality complemented Johnson's propulsive, jerky stage manner, while the guitarist's staccato style dominated the group's idiosyncratic brand of angular rhythm and blues.
