American guitarists/singers Blind Willie McTell & Curley Weaver often collaborated for several Georgia country-blues recordings, such as the post-War 1950 Reagal Sessions 12" Pig 'N Whistle Red. The 12-string playing McTell's hillbilly wail was paired with "Georgia Guitar Wizard" Weaver's high-register cry and Piedmont style as both fingerpickers played some fast bluegrass-speed country & blues songs.
