Set the World on Fire Lyrics

On my own
in a city unknown
Streetlights all go passin' by
I sit back
and i watch it unfold
Don't matter where I'm at cuz I'm aloneStreetlights all shine so brigh
out here in the neon night
Stars fade and disappear and i wish
you were hereCuz I'm Nothin'
If I'm not with you
I might as well be in my grave
and I'm sick of countin' all the days
Nothin' Nothin' Nothin' Oh!
Well it's a neon world
that I'm livin' in
You're at home with your jealousyJust a few more stops
Til I'm with you againBut it won't ever ever be the sameStreetlights all shine so brigh
out here in the neon night

Stars fade and disappear and i wish
you were hereCuz I'm Nothin'
If I'm not with you
I might as well be in my grave
and I'm sick of countin' all the days
Nothin' Nothin' Nothin' Oh!
Streetlights all shine so bright
out here in the neon night
Stars fade and disappear and i wish
you were hereCuz I'm Nothin'
If I'm not with you
I might as well be in my grave
and I'm sick of countin' all the days
Nothin' Nothin' Nothin' Oh!Cuz I'm Nothin'
If I'm not with you
I might as well be in my grave
and I'm sick of countin' all the days
Nothin' Nothin' Nothin' Oh!

Klaatu was a Canadian progressive rock band formed in 1973 and disbanded in 1982. Members John Woloschuk, Dee Long and Terry Draper lived in Toronto. They released five studio albums, the most famous of which is the 1976 debut 3:47 EST (AKA Klaatu), which, due to a rumor started by a DJ, was believed by some to be a front for new work by The Beatles. The album's artwork contained no credits for the performers, and there were at times vocal similarities with Lennon and McCartney. That album's song "Calling Occupants of Interplanetary Craft" became a hit when covered by Carpenters.
