Shattered Lyrics

Wounded like a soldier
now the love is over
let me wallow in my pain
thought that we had something
how'd it come to nothing
run it all by me again
We were strong
’til she came along
And I'm shattered
I'm not broken enough to bleed
and I’m shattered
I was blind but now I see
and it hurts like hell
but you are not the end of me
I can feel like shit
but you'll never see it
I can wear a happy face
think of you every minute

but I wont admit it
I'll never give myself away
I'll see you again
(I see you again)
And I'm shattered
I'm not broken enough to bleed
and I’m shattered
I was blind but now I see
and it hurts like hell
but you are not the end of me
I see you
and I see her
and I realise I'm better off without you
it hurts but I'll make it through oh oh
Oh yeah
(and I'm shattered)
I'm not broken enough to bleed
I'm shattered
I was blind but now I see
and it hurts like hell
but you are not the end of me
(I’m shattered, I'm shattered, I'm shattered, I'm shattered)
I'm not broken
and it hurts like hell
but you are not the end of me

The Trucks were an all-female, indie, casio-rock, dance-punk band who originally formed in Bellingham, WA in 2003 (they are currently more spread out, and are residing in Seattle, Olympia, Bellingham, and Mt. Vernon!). The Trucks are four fabulous females who write and perform catchy and edgy fun songs about bicycles, boys, life, sex, girls, big afros, girls, relationships and lots more. They are lots of fun and put on great shows, usually dressed up all crazy. Their debut CD on Clickpop Records The Trucks became a undergound favorite around the nation in early 2007.
