She Said Lyrics

Don't bring me fresh horses, let me ride the wild beat
Women in houses, I can't deal with their heat
If this is salvation, I'm not sure if it's theirs anymoreReveal me treasures, my loan to ye own
I'm not quite sure
Maybe baby, just a little misinformed
It's funny, honey, I can swear that I've seen it before
I don't know why, I don't know whyTen men standing with their backs to the wall
Shrink from the knowledge, they throw gold in a hole
What's really sad, you know, they don't mind at allDon't give me gestures, you don't know what they mean
Same old expressions, same familiar old themes
Your body's talking, I can swear that I've heard it all before"I don't know why you lied, I don't know why you lied
I don't know, I don't know, I don't know why", she said
"I don't know why you lied, I don't know why you lied
I don't know, I don't know, I don't know why"You know when the deal goes down
It's time to leave and you're on your own
I will walk with you in my very heart, you'll find a homeShe said, "Maybe you will"
I said, "Maybe I will, maybe I won't, with me, I won't"
She said, "Maybe you will"

I said, "Whatever you do is whatever you do
Whatever you do is whatever you do
Whatever you do, whatever you do"And she said
"Come let me ride, come let me ride the wild beast
Come let me ride, come let me ride the wild beast"

Robert Anthony Plant CBE (born 20 August 1948, West Bromwich, Staffordshire, England) is a British rock singer famous for being the lead vocalist of one of the most influential rock bands of all time: Led Zeppelin. He is known for his powerful style with a wide vocal range. After Led Zeppelin's breakup following the sudden death of drummer John Bonham in 1980, Plant pursued a successful solo career. Popular tracks from this period include "Big Log," "Tall Cool One," and "I Believe." In 1984, Plant formed a short-lived all-star group with Jimmy Page, Jeff Beck and Phil Collins called The Honeydrippers, who had a Top Ten hit with a remake of the Phil Phillips' tune, "Sea of Love".

Plant's love of the music of Morocco led him to a new collaboration called Robert Plant And The Strange Sensation. The band's releases met with critical acclaim and numerous Grammy nominations. They completed the 2006 tour of Europe in September.

In 2007, Plant began recording and performing with bluegrass star Alison Krauss. A duet album, Raising Sand, was released on 23 October 2007 on Rounder Records. The album, recorded in Nashville and Los Angeles and produced by T-Bone Burnett met with enormous critical and commercial success.

The year of 2010 proves to be yet another successful year for the aging lemon squeezer. Durring the summer, Plant will be reuniting with his old, Pre-Zep group, The Band Of Joy, for a tour of the southern and mid continental tour of the US.
