Shed My Skin Lyrics

You've got troubles on your mindKeeps you away from meThere's no sense in denying
And I've cursed myself for the longest timeAnd now I find I just don't mindLeave your coat beside the door
Come and lay hereOn this blanket on the floorAnd we'll throw our candlesIn the flames tonightSet it right try to set it right(chorus)
When all our tears coming down are goneAnd I shed my skin before this evening's doneIf we never get the chanceTo come back here againI'll understand you know I'll understandYou know I'll understandAll the spirits of the nightWatch us sleeping hereBeside the firelightAnd I'll hold my tongue
Till this moment's goneKiss the dawn
Stay to kiss the dawn(chorus)
