She's About a Mover Lyrics

She was walkin' down the street
Lookin' fine as she could be, hey, hey
She was walkin' down the street
She's lookin' fine as she could be, hey, hey
You know I love you, baby
Oh hear what I say, hey, hey
She walked right up to me
Said, "Hey, big boy, what's your name?"
She walked right up to me
Said, "Hey, big boy, what's your name?"
Hey, hey
We had love and conversation
Oh yeah, what I say, hey hey
She's about a mover
She's about a mover
She's about a mover
She's about a mover
Hey, hey

She's about a mover
She's about a mover
You know I love you, baby
Oh yeah, what I say, yeah, hey
Now, she walked right up to me, talkin' about me
She said, "Hey, big boy, what's your name?"
Well, she walked right up to me
Said, "Hey, big boy, what's your name?"
We had love and conversation
Oh yeah, what I say, hey hey
She's about a mover
She's about a mover
She's about a mover
She's about a mover
Hey, hey
She's about a mover
She's about a mover
She's about a mover
She's about a mover
Hey hey

The Sir Douglas Quintet was an American rock band active in the late 1960s and early 1970s. Despite their British sounding name, they came out of San Antonio, Texas and are perhaps best known for their 1965 hit single written by Doug Sahm, the 12-bar blues "She's About a Mover" named the number one 'Texas' song by Texas Monthly. The Sir Douglas Quintet is considered a pioneering influence in the history of rock and roll for incorporating Tex-Mex and Cajun styles into rock music.
