Ship The Majestic Suffix Lyrics

Before our time, upon a noun
There stood still a ship
Standing proudShe tows lines, transforms words
To be more than they are
When they are alone on their own
Pointing to no oneShips displaying the quality
The rank craft state skill dignity
When our ship comes into nations
Who will tow the line?Ships passing into the night, taking flight
With goods for everyone
Ships are led by the compass ones
The shipshape daughters, these shipshape sonsWhen our ship draws in the nations
He shall tow our line
Our ships of fools from failing schools
We need, now hearThe children, they desperately
Are needing to be, be set free
They are afraid, but so are we
This cannot beSee hope

Our captain riding
Throughout these heavens
Bringing peaceWe're shipping out our men again
Oh, I pray it will end
These tunes are never ending
Thank you for sending them to our handsBefore our time, upon a noun
There stood still a ship
Standing proudShe tows lines, transform words
To be more than they are
When they are alone on their own
She's pointing to the one

Danielson Famile (aka Danielson) is a band from Clarksboro, New Jersey, that plays a quirky blend of Indie pop and gospel music. They are also a notable example of Bass-Pop, perhaps more fittingly called Avant-Pop. The members of the band are Daniel Smith and his siblings Megan Smith (Megan Slaboda), David Smith, Rachel Smith (Rachel Galloway), Andrew Smith, wife Elin K. Smith, and friend Chris X. Smith (Chris Palladino). Recently, Sufjan Stevens has joined the band as an adopted member of the family, playing banjo on the album Brother Is to Son and touring with them when possible.
