Shouting Out A Mayday - Catastrophes

Catastrophes was founded in Bergen, Norway during the Autumn of 2005. The band plays music that is a kind of pop-rock with inspirations from punk and a lead singer sounding a bit like Jim Morrisson. They are often compared alongside British bands like The Strokes and The Libertines. Lead singer Arne Håkon Tjelle is the song writer, while Snorre Sturla Lyngstad plays the bass. Lars Jakob Stava is the guitar player, and Øyvind Aasen Gloppestad sits behind the drum kit.
