Pestroy are a rapcore band with a wide array of different influences formed in 1998 based in Johannesburg, South Africa. Pestroy have been kindly providing mayhem, chaos and entropy on the local scene for 11 years now with their unique messy mashed-up mix of metal, drum 'n bass, rap, rock and progressive hardcore, all thrown together with enough melody to evoke Tool. Its fast-slow metal like Korn, with an energetic live delivery that has frequently stirred up maelstrom-like pits that border on riots.
