Working in the electronically-isolated world of Huntsville, AL, an area where guitars are a prerequisite be it of the country acoustic or rockin’ electric variety, Joshua Hart is a solo musician creating music that alienates itself from its surroundings with its unexpected combination of introspective lyrics paired with the detached sound of his trusty vocoder, all atop genuinely haunting layers of fragile piano melodies and ominous choir arrangements. In the wrong hands, the choice to pair sincerely heavy themes with such uncommon effects and sounds could result in a loss of emotional substance, but Joshua ignores this risk and in doing so offers an entirely unheard of interpretation of the piano ballad that leaves listeners in a bittersweet state as they re-live their own lives' losses, highlights, and regrets.

To date he has released three albums via bandcamp, "Regret", "Crestfallen", and most recently, "Silhouette". The "Regret" album is a collection of fourteen vocal songs hand-picked for re-interpretation culled from the discography of respected electronic music artist and acclaimed lyricist Charles Rehill, more frequently known as Lost Signal. "Crestfallen" is an album of instrumental tracks which call upon frequent film dialog-samples for it's words rather than traditionally sung lyrics. The "Silhouette" album marked the first release to feature lyrics written by Joshua himself, while also including several songs written by James Francis (of Panic Lift) and Charles Rehill.

He cites great respect for and influences from electronic artists Lost Signal and Assemblage 23, while also studying the work of many modern-classical composers such as Clint Mansell, Yann Tiersen, James Horner, Ludovico Einaudi, Philip Glass, Graeme Revell, Andrew Lloyed Webber, as well as the Immortal Composers Johan Sebastian Bach, Ludwig Van Beethoven, Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, Frederic Chopin, and, Samuel Barber.
