Sing Along Lyrics

Yeah, here we go
Boy, you thought I had it really bad for you
But you had it made when you made me choose
Now you're stuck at home all alone
With the nine to five
You told me I could go but I wouldn't get far
Never in this life, could I be a star
Look at me now, I would say that I'm doin' just fine
Goodbye
Every time you miss me, baby
Every time you're thinkin' of me
Just turn your radio on
Sing along, sing along
I'll be right there waitin' for you
Just like you always wanted me to
Now that all you've got left is this song
Sing along, sing along
Yeah, you picture me at home just workin' at food

Singin' in the kitchen, bakin' cookies for you
You were wrong, now I'm gone
Doin' what you said I couldn't do, thank you
Every time you miss me, baby
Every time you're thinkin' of me
Just turn your radio on
Sing along, sing along
I'll be right there waitin' for you
Just like you always wanted me to
Now that all you've got left is this song
Sing along, sing along
Sing along, sing along, sing along
I know you want to sing along
Sing along, sing along, sing along
You always begged me to write you a song
Well baby, I'm sorry it took me so long
Every time you miss me baby
Every time you're thinkin' of me
Just turn your radio on
Sing along, sing along
And I'll be right there waitin' for you
Just like you always wanted me to
Now that all you've got left is this song
Sing along, sing along
Sing along
(Sing along, sing along, sing along)
Yeah, sing along
(Sing along, sing along, sing along)
Yeah, this one's for you, this one's for you
(Sing along, sing along, sing along)
Come on baby, sing along
Sing along, sing along, sing along

Danelle Leverett and Susie Brown met while at a songwriters' concert in Nashville, Tennessee. After being introduced to each other by songwriter Kris Bergsnes, they began writing songs together and later decided to form a duo, also by suggestion of Bergsnes.
