Sister Lyrics

Te souviens-tu d'un jour de septembre
Où il avait tant plu
Les K-Ways rouges dans la Renault douze
On quittait Londres sans toi
Sister, sister, sister
C'était la rentrée des classes
On ne m'avait pas dit que je ne te verrais pas
Que tu allais rester là,
Que tu allais vivre là,
Passer toute cette année sans moi
Sister, sister, sister,
Sister these days came back to me
Te souviens-tu d'un jour de septembre
Où il avait tant plu
Les K-Ways rouges dans la Renault douze

Vous quittiez Londres sans moi
Sister, sister, sister
C'était la rentrée des classes,
Je ne t'avais pas dit
Que tu ne me verrais pas
Que je devrais rester là,
Je devrais vivre là,
Tu passerais cette année sans moi
Sister, sister, sister, sister, sister,
Sister these days came back to me.

Emily Loizeau (born 7 February 1975) is a French singer songwriter. Born in Neuilly-sur-Seine, France to a British mother, Emily’s music is influenced as much by French chanson (Jeanne Moreau, Serge Gainsbourg, Michel Legrand) as by American singer-songwriters and icons like Tom Waits and Randy Newman. She cites Georges Brassens, Bob Dylan, and The Beatles as her primary influences. At the end of 2001, at the age of 26, Loizeau decided to dedicate her life to singing.
