David West - man of Perth, Australia (currently residing the Bay Area) adopted the nom de guerre Rat Columns as a way of stepping away from his other outlets - past and present (Burning Sensation, Rank/Xerox, etc.) James Vinciguerra (of Total Control) also comes along for part of the ride. Rat Columns put out a self titled cassette co-released by Ros records & Grave New World and a 4-song 7" on SmartGuy records.
