Sleeper Lyrics

To take you in
Is to feel a great sadness
Is to hold a great hope
Heavy in my chest
To let you go
Is to lose my balance
Is to fall into silence
Is to wait, wait, wait
Oh sleeper, my keeper of days
We can't get back the Spring
Once it's passed
For I was born
In a colder time
And we made our vows in ice
And steel
Oh sleeper, you kissed me for luck
Did you know we found
The morning

Oh sleeper, my keeper of days
We can't get back the Spring
Once it's passed
To take you in
Is to feel a great sadness
Is to hold a great hope
So I'll make you a bed
In a bed in fields
'Cause we can't get back the Spring
Once it's passed
